What if my student is tardy?

We encourage promptness since tardies effect everyone and disrupt classroom time. Late students must report to the office for a tardy slip.

Does Winters’ Well allow visitors in the classrooms?

Yes, we do! We welcome visitors at our school. Please check in at the main office first to let us know you’re here. Then we’ll direct you to the place you want to visit on campus. On certain occasions, you may need to schedule your classroom visit ahead of time.

My child needs medication. How will you make sure he/she will receive it?

The Winters’ Well nurse or administrators will give your child any needed medications. We can only do this under certain criteria:

1. All medications must stay in the nurse’s office in the original labeled container.

2. You must have a written doctor's order to accompany any medications. These include over-the-counter medicines like aspirin, cough medicine, allergy medicines, etc., as well as prescribed medicines.

3. Written parent permission must accompany all medicines—prescriptions as well as non-prescriptions.
